The North East and North Cumbria Maternal Medicine Network covers a large area of over 5,300 square miles and stretches from North Northumberland down to Teeside and North Yorkshire. We are covered by one Local Maternity and Neonatal System (LMNS- Local Maternity and Neonatal Systems (LMNS) North East and North Cumbria Local Maternity Systems Northern England) and encompasses multiple NHS healthcare trusts. Whilst the Network is hosted by Newcastle-upon-Tyne NHS Foundation Trust (hyperlink-Newcastle Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust ), we are committed to providing a high standard of care as close to home as possible, wherever this can be safely achieved.
